對于英語學習者來說，可以在網語吧上尋找老師。在每個老師的頁面，可查看該老師的學歷、專業(yè)、工作等相關信息，以及授課數(shù)、課時費以及學員評價等，并在付費后，通過skype、MSN、QQ等和老師視頻交流。

對于講英語的人來說，則可以通過這個平臺找到想學習英語的人，通過教學獲得收入。課時費由老師自己來定，平臺會進行擔保，并與老師進行收入分成。目前平臺已經有上千位老師。這個模式初衷是很好的，即讓非英語母語國家的人，能有更多和老外交流的機會，提高英語水平。
